Recent Vietnam visa policy changes are as follows:
- Vietnam will grant visa-free entry for 45 days to citizens from the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Poland who are participating in itineraries organized by international tour operators in Vietnam, effective from March 1, 2025. - Vietnam’s e-visa validity will increase from 30 days to 90 days, allowing for either single or multiple entries. E-visa holders can enter and exit Vietnã várias vezes dentro da validade de 90 dias period without needing to apply for a new e-visa. - Citizens from all countries on the world can now eligible in the e-visa program.
- 9 more ports of entry have been added to the list of approved locations for entry/exit.
- Beginning August 15, 2023, regular passport holders from 13 specific countries will no longer require a visa for a stay of 45 days, rather than the previous 15-day limit. There is no longer a gap period between two visa-exemption entries, citizens of visa-exempt countries can enter Vietnam again immediately after exiting the country.
