How to apply for Vietnam Visa in China?

Chinese passport holders (Including Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR passport holders) or tourists in China can apply for a visa to Vietnam using one of the three methods below.

Steps to apply for Vietnam e-Visa:

  1. Fill in an online visa application form;
  2. Pay the cost and wait for 4-6 working days;
  3. Download and print the Vietnam e-Visa.

Required documents include:

  • Your portrait scan photo taken in the last 6 months (4*6 size, colored photo, white background, straight looking without glasses). Sample: click view

Steps to apply for Vietnam visa on arrival:

  1. Fill in online visa application form;
  2. Pay the cost and wait for 4-6 working days;
  3. Download and print the approval letter and get visa stamp upon arrival at Vietnam airport.

Required documents include (bring):

  • 01 portrait photo taken in the last 6 months (4*6 size, colored photo, white background, straight looking without glasses). Sample: click view
  • Passport (at least 6 months validity with 2 blank pages);
  • A printed copy of enclosed Letter of Approval;
  • An entry/exit form (download here) filled with your information;
  • Stamping fee in cash;

Note: You are required to show passport and visa approval letter when checking in for a flight to Vietnam.
